Jim Whiteside’s debut chapbook, Writing Your Name on the Glass, is out now from Bull City Press.

Jim’s poems have appeared in a variety of venues, including The New York Times, The Atlantic, The American Poetry Review, Ploughshares, Poetry, The Southern Review, Best New Poets, and Boston Review. His work has received support from The Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, The Sewanee Writers’ Conference, The Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned his MFA. A former Wallace Stegner Fellow in poetry at Stanford University, he lives in Brooklyn, New York. He is working on his first full-length collection of poems.
